DBS Eco Warriors Game
DBS Eco Warriors is a series of games that teaches sustainability to young students in the form of real-time problem-solving mysteries.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Children are our future, which is why the DBS Sustainability Team saw it important to inculcate an eco-friendly mindset from a young age.
A beta test was run with the students of United World College and Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) where we created a game kit for the students to learn about sustainability. Of course, given the theme, we made sure that everything we made was made sustainably with repurposed materials and able to be reused.
THE GAME
In the game, the students took on the role of Eco Detectives and went around various booths to spot eco-crimes. The team that caught the most number of eco-crimes by the end was awarded!
Finally, freshly armed with the knowledge of eco-friendliness, the teams would then make a pledge to eco-friendliness.
