DBS Newton Green Launch
The iconic POSB building that has served generations of customers was retrofitted to be Singapore’s first net zero building by a bank.
Flash was brought on board to organise to celebrate the opening of DBS Newton Green.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
By retrofitting the 30-year-old building, DBS extended the lifespan of the building and avoided the loss of embodied carbon and the generation of additional embodied carbon that comes with the construction of a new building, marking an important milestone in the sustainability conversation within DBS.
OUR PART
Keeping with the theme of sustainability, Flash decorated the area with floristry and natural elements like plants and green landscaping which are designed to be reused for future DBS events.
We also created the stage using repurposed wood panels and pallets, coupled with a LED wall as the backdrop.
